Located in Fairhaven, MA, Angora Knit for You began in 1999 after finding an awesome hand spun angora yarn in the Sierra Nevada area of South America. Literally searched the nations of the world from Chile to France for the finest angora available and finally found what I considered to be the absolute best 100% angora yarn in the world. Of course it had to be hand spun to my specifications and I am very picky!

Having over 20 years of knitting expertise, I, Diane Antonietta, began offering hand knit 100% angora sweaters on ebay which proved successful and decided to start this business.

100% angora comes from bunnies. These angora rabbits are pleased to have their coat gently removed as it gets so heavy when it is ready to shed. After that the yarn is spun and the bunny starts to grow a new coat.

Over the years it has been a pleasure and a challenge to create new designs per customer request out of these beautiful yarns, and, as you can see below they have been herald by the many patrons of this site.

Today, Angora Knit for You is the one of the top hand knit 100% angora companies in the world. We also sell our beautiful yarns to those who want to knit their own creations and we sell original designs and custom angora knitwear to our customers specifications. We have been featured on magazine covers such as Harry and David as well as in articles online. Because the designs are created right here you know if you see a similar sweater elsewhere it is a copy of our designs and do you really want a copy??? We are the originals and if you want the best you have come to the right place so buy with confidence because we stand behind everything we sell!

My pants have arrived this week. Thank you again for your marvellous job. I have yearned to be covered by soft and fluffy angora from head to toe and now it is happening. It so overwhelming ! With both the garment and pants, I will engulf my entire body on contact of softness for the next Canadian winters. This most amazingly pure white angora body suit makes me speechless. The pants look magnificent and feel out of this world. Keep up the good work.

As soon as I first saw the picture of your ribbed turtleneck top on your web site, I new I just had to own one. The top just looked so thick, incredibly soft and the design completely stunning. The picture and your words of description, were an understatement. The package has arrived (three weeks early) and after unwrapping it, I was completely speachless, as you know being rather tall, you kindly made an over sized garment for me. It is exquisit and quite unbelievable, the web pictures do not do justice to it at all. Just to hold the garment is an experience and to actually wear it, a perfect fit I must add, is pure joy. Having put it on I am reluctant to take it off!

The sweater came in today's (Monday) mail. I'm surprised it was so fast.
Where do I begin? This is the most amazing thing I have ever worn. Big,
borders on huge, which is great. I have several "too tight for comfort"
sweaters I will have to get rid of.
The material is beyond my expectations. Calling it a sweater really doesn't
do it justice. It's almost a living thing! In mid winter I am always cold,
shivering at my desk. Never again! Thanks so much for your hard work, I can
see a lot of effort went into this. You are so talented. Keep up the good
